Three Weeks and One Day
So in three weeks and one day I will be flying out of these great United States headed for the Land of Morning Calm (that’s South Korea if you didn’t know). Once there I will recieve about three days of training and then tossed into a pool of hungry parhanas (er classroom of students). Ages unknown. I’m crossing my fingers for the well-behaved ages. Are there any?

In Korea, I will beI received THINGS TO BRING TO KOREA & SHOPPING the official YBM list. I was going to try to come up with a list on my own, but it looks like my procrastination has paid off. Reading it, I learned a few things:
A) Teaching English
B) Buying electronics
C) Becoming Buddhist
D) Marrying a Russian prostitute
E) All of the above
I sent out my visa application a few days ago.
- You can buy Frito Lay Doritos in most stores.
- Don’t drink the tap water.
- There are Wal-Marts and Costcos everywhere.
- I may need to start taking vitamins.
- Dinner at a Korean restaurant is only $6.
- Some boring stuff.
This is really happening. I guess I should start getting ready...
