Moving house

Tomorrow, some men will arrive at 2 pm while I’m at work. They will haul all of my belongings into a lorry and deliver it to an as yet undisclosed location in Suseong-Gu. From tomorrow, there will be no more transitional morning bike rides or bus trips to work. I don’t know if I will miss them or not. The commute provided me with a pleasent empty zone between work and home, but it also took up another hour of my day. I have no complaints about my place now. It is tiny, but I don’t need that much space. I don’t think I’ll miss it though. Unless my new place is on the first floor, has paper thin walls, smells of rotten Kimchi, and has hairy mold on the walls. Then I might miss this place.

I hate packing. I don’t know why it takes me so long. I think I stand around and stare at my stuff a lot. I’m pretty much finished now though.

My uncle Rick is also arriving tomorrow. A stopover for a couple days after his trip to Mongolia. I’ll be working the whole time he is here so I’m not sure what we can do together.
