First Day
I didn't hear the bell and taught right through the break. I forgot a girl's name in a class of four, I used everyone elses name, but kept calling her "you". I taught a class without any preparation.
I survived my first day of class.

sounds like you did pretty well! just try to call on that girl first next time so she knows you don't hate her. she might cry herself to sleep if you don't.
so, can you believe that you're really teaching english in korea? do you sometimes have to pinch yourself? hey, remind me to tell you about some movies i'd think you'd like in our next correspondence.
Congratulations! Were the kids attentive? I don't picture them being quite like American students.
