More of a grey

Well...

Honestly, today wasn’t nearly as bad as I had anticipated. I just had to pick up one extra kindergarten class. Everyone was pretty calm about the whole situation. I was kind of expecting some kind of interogation, “You knew about this didn’t you?” But all she asked me was, “Did you see Heath this weekend?” I think secretly everyone was a little relieved that he was gone. He had a habit of ruffling feathers and screwing things up.

I just hope that we can get a new (and competent and maybe with a charmingly positive attitude. We need some fresh blood to lighten the mood in the teacher’s room. And while I’m fantasizing, maybe she’ll be a hot British dame.) foreigner in here soon.

When I came home I was craving something greasy and disgusting, so I stopped by KFC and picked up a chicken wrap and fries. It’s the second time I’ve eaten at KFC since I’ve been here. It’s really weird to going into an American fast food chain here. Everyone turns and looks at you. I imagine it’s kinda like if a NASA spaceship crash landed on Mars and the Martians took it as their own and started living in it and then a hundred years later some astronauts discovered it and went inside. I think all the Martians would turn and stare.

I don’t mean to imply that Koreans are like Martians...

but on the other hand...
