This entry is kinda lame and doesn’t deserve a title

I meant to write a long deep post addressing some issues in South Korea that I’ve been thinking about, but instead I posted a bunch of photos to my flickr. I just got a couple of rolls developed and scanned. It’s been a long time coming. Some of the shots are from China. You should check them out.

I’m trying to be more active in the “Flickr community.” So I joined a bunch of groups and posted some photos in those groups. Mostly I just want more people to look at my photos and tell me how awesome I am (or how much I suck, which is probably more constructive..). But that means I need to comment on other people’s photos and tell them how awesome they are and how much they suck. Which isn’t fun. Because most of the pictures are pleasent and dull and there isn’t anything I want to say about them.

Also maybe you want to watch this documentary on North Korea. Children of the Secret State. It’s about the starving orphans of the DPRNK and contains some very rare secret camera footage. It’s an interesting look into the world’s most closed off state and well worth watching I think.

Strange to think that I live just a few hours South of all of that, yet it looks like a totally different world.

I need to go to sleep. I have to get up early to accompany the KGers to the Zoo. I hear that it is a very depressing trip, as there are no animal rights in Korea.
