swiss george and german lesbos

i met George, the guy i stayed with in switzerland through couchsurfing.com. he took me on a driving tour of switzerland. we stayed at a hostel in interlaken, went to a latin music festival, hiked in the alps. he cooked traditional swiss fondu for me, taught me to play dog and muller, told me storries from his wild life. from traveling to leading safaris in kenya to banking to driving limos for rock stars to his home in brazil (the land where his heart lies).
i felt a great friendship with he, his housemate stephan and his girlfriend daniella. and it was with sadness that i left for munich, after george insisted on finding me the right train to take and contacting people i might be able to stay with. unfortunately despite our efforts, we found no one. so im in a hostel right now. which is nice and not to expensive (20 euro a night). im rooming with two 17 year old girls from portland, a gay australian, and two brits in uni(versity). yeah its entertaining.
last night i was eating alone at a pizza parlor next door, and these four german lesbians sat down. maybe they werent, but since they werent talking to me i assumed they were. just before i left i turned and asked what a decent tip was to leave the waiter.
10 percent, one replied, but you cant leave it on the table, i know you do that in the states.
then.
the floodgates were opened. and she asked me where i was from, what i was planning on doing. then i pulled out my map and she began to tell me all her favorite things to do in the city. and we talked for about an hour.
so moral of the story:

dont judge a lesbian by her cover.

one day i will visit george and stephan in brazil.

I wish I were with you on your adventures, if nothing else I have a great sense of direction and never get lost in those foreign cities. Keep exploring, photographing and writing. You need to write a book some day, you're so entertaining! I would buy it, and so would Joey. He's been following your blogs too.

hahahahaha...

good stuff. and definitely follow the advice. jobs suck... travel forever if you can... people will just think you're independently wealthy.

i'd do it if i could... stupid job!
